Description: Antique 9ct Rose Gold Cameo Ring - Size N - 1890s Victorian - Heavy Wear Solid 9ct rose gold. Hallmarked “9c” The ring is in ok condition given its age. It has extensive wear to the cameo and bezel setting. The ring style is a cameo ring. This ring is handmade in Australia and it is dated to the early to mid 1890s which falls into the Victorian period. The main stone on this ring is coral. The coral has a very light pink colour. The coral has sustained very heavy wear to it which has smoothed out most of the details. The coral is free from chips or scratches. It has been worn down over extensive use throughout many decades. The stone is not loose in its setting as it is likely adhered to the setting using an early type of glue. The bezel setting is also heavily worn, although it still has a tight grasp on the stone so it’ll be fine to wear extensively even in its current condition. The gold purity of this ring has been tested and it was confirmed to be solid 9ct rose gold (37.5% purity) This ring has been resized. The resizing was done professionally and it is difficult to notice. It has heavy wear to its finer details. The ring is not bent or squashed. No major damage. No modifications have been made to this ring. This ring is not engraved. Very comfortable to wear. Bit of a smaller ring. Photos are zoomed in. The ring has an inside diameter of 17.1mm. An Australian size N. Ring band width is 1.7mm. Ring band thickness is 1.3mm. The face of this ring is 14.4mm in width and its maximum thickness is 3.2mm. In perfectly wearable condition.
