The photos are inserted in matted slots. The cover is embossed leather and has the remnant of a metal clasp. 22 two-sided leaves. Several near the back are empty. Splendid collection of portraits of men, women and children taken by a number of San Francisco photography studios, including B.F. Howland, D.B. Taylor, Payne & Bailey, and others.
