Description: Up for sale is an Antique Vintage American Civil War Cavalry Rare PS Sword. This does not have the sheath but is in good condition; The sword has worn marks on the blade that are hard to read. The handle it is marked PS. This sword came from an estate in Ohio, so it may be from the Union. I tried finding who the maker is, but could not find it anywhere. Please look at the pictures for the best description. If you have any questions, please ask. Thank you for looking. I received an email saying this may be an original French infantryman’s sword from the Napoleonic era. This may be from a different war period, though when i got the sword I was told it was from the civil war. It is possible for this to have been used in the war but be older.
