Description: beautiful Early American handmade woven Shaker work basket. unusual larger woven ash cat head basket with 7 blue stripes, it is large for a work basket 14" diameter top & the square cat head bottom is only 6". see the wonderful small shapely handles. there are 4 small open weave accessory baskets. there is lashing missing across the top holding the small baskets in place. see the lashing wear. it is clean, original patina remains. not sure of functions, larger basket with solid bottom and 4 smaller open weave hanging baskets 2 with blue wrap. nice condition, larger basket has a few tiny breaks, 4 smaller are good, only one has a break cross the top. the 2.50 on the bottom maybe the original price from a Shaker store. look at the photos. ships free. payment expected in 1 day I ship 2x a week. ask if you need a package sent the next day.
