It is not new and does show wear consistent with age. Wedding bands typically show more wear as they were worn daily. This ring is very dainty and small. According to my ring sizer, it is approximately a size 4.75. I could almost make it fit but I was afraid it would never come off! Ha! The ring is signed as shown in the images and has a faint design that goes around the entire band. It is perfect for someone who wants a dainty ring that has some history and character to it. I did not clean or polish the ring as I know many folks getting items like this that still have some patina, so I will leave that up to the discretion of the buyer. Thanks so much for looking!
