Description: Thank you for viewing this beautiful antique Art Deco 1920's platinum diamond fishtail engagement ring setting. The ring contains 6 diamonds weighting approximately .10 carats. The diamonds are an average quality of H/I color and Si-I clarity. The ring size is 7. The weight of the ring is 4.4 grams. The fishtail setting needs to be worked on by a jeweler but it would have to be worked on anyway when the diamond is set. The sides of the ring show wear on the center head but that actually allows for a wedding band to now sit flush with the ring. In fact , modern designs copy this now, where the bottom of the head at the point where it tapers to the finger sits flush with the rest of the shank.
