Description: Antique Czechoslovakia Art Deco Detail Czech Pin Brooch . Measures about 2" long, and about 7/8" tall. Signed on the Trombone Clasp, as shown. It was very hard to photograph, and the impression is not very good, but it looks like it might say TEL CO and SLOV..... to me. Please see the photos, and determine the maker for yourself. I do not know what the metal is. There are no metal marks. It is silver colored, and my magnet only seems attracted to the tiny brass colored tip on the end of the trombone clasp. Weight is about 15.1 grams. It is in great pre-owned condition, as shown. Trombone clasps were used primarily in Britain between 1850 and 1890, but some US makers used them too. Around 1940 use of them for jewelry ceased. The stones could be diamonds, crystals or glass. I do not know, so I have called them rhinestones.
