Description: Here we have a wonderful, grand antique bronzed spelter table lamp base. This is a quality piece, unknown maker but very much in the style of Aususte Moreau. This is marked France to the back towards the base. It is decorated beautifully with leaves, swirls and fanned decoration, finished wonderfully with cherub holding the torch. This would date to somewhere around 1920. This needs rewiring etc in order to use. It measures approximately 13.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches weighing just over 1kg. A lovely luxurious looking lamp, perfect for the French Country house interior. This is the only one on eBay of course so get it or regret it. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
