Description: I have collected old hardware for many years which I have used in various homes we have built. We are retired now so I am selling off what is left of my collection. I have several lots up for sale so if you are interested in bidding on other lots please wait to see what you have won before paying so I can package items together and save shipping costs for you. I will then send a final invoice. I only charge actual shipping costs through the Ebay shipping calculator. This auction is for a beautiful set of 4 knobs. Please check out all photos as I have tried to photograph any and all discrepancies with the lot. This grouping measures 1 5/8" in diameter and has some beautiful swirl with browns and amber colors. They measure the same diameter but some have a slightly different thickness which once on a piece of furntiure is not noticeable. These knobs are rare and hard to find!!! This style of knob was a popular alternative to plain ceramic or pressed-glass door knobs during the mid to late 1800s. “Bennington'' refers to the glazing technique invented by Christopher Webber Fenton. In the early 19th century, Fenton worked for the Norton Pottery Company located in Bennington, Vermont. All of my items come from a smoke free environment. If you have any questions or would like additional photos please reach out. Thanks for looking!! NO international sales please!
