Antique BENTWOOD DRY MEASURE - 1 Peck

Description: Antique PRIMITIVE BENTWOOD DRY MEASURE. This antique bentwood 1 Peck dry goods measure is made of oak with an overlapped tapered joint. The joint is secured with iron tacks and the one piece bottom board is pegged to the sides. The outside has traces of gray paint. The inside is unfinished and we found no branded lettering on the bottom. It measures 11 1/2" in diameter x 6 1/4 tall. There are cracks, chips, stains and soiling commensurate with age. Please look carefully at the photos.
