Description: Antique Bisque Head and Hands Boy Doll with Kid Body and Handmade Clothes 17" According to the information I found posted by DOLLS magazine staff on Oct 31, 2023, this is an antique bisque head on a kid leather body. The bisque head and hands were made in the Gebruder Heubach porcelain factory located in Licht, Germany. Probably between 1910 and 1920. They then sold their doll heads to other factories where the bodies were made, in this case a kid leather body. The clothes are not antique. They were made by a doll collector, Clara May, in 1970. Down to his little pointy shoes. The back of his head is marked with the number 7 indicating his mold number and also the word Germany. He is in great condition with no cracks or chips and his clothes are nicely made.
