Description: Wonderful sewing caddy from Black Forest region of Germany.Hand carved wood of a bear with little black eyes. He totes a "ladder" of spools and a pin cushion on his back.In wonderful condition - he would have had a cloth strap but someone replaced it with a rubber band many years ago.The 3 spools of thread are antique too "Diamond Silk Twist".This was wrapped and stored away in an old trunk for most of it's life - very, very nice condition.
