Description: Antique Edwardian Victorian Black Silk Skirt with Purple Windmill Print AS IS. This authentic victorian skirt is made from silk with a woven in windmill print in purple. It has two pleats on either side of the skirt and hooks and eyes at the center back for closure. There is a horizontal pleat about 6 inches above the hemline as if someone was taking the skirt up. Below that are two bands of a thicker woven ribbon that act almost as a weight for the skirt. This piece is in good condition considering its age. It can be delicately worn or displayed on a mannequin. There is some shattering at the waistline and some other pulls and discoloration throughout.
