Description: For auction is a vintage / antique brass Helion Patented electric table lighter. It has a cool microphone shape with a perforated brass colander cage around the burner element. There is a bakelite push button under the burner (marked Push). It is fairly heavy for its size and it it has a cast iron weighted base to keep it stable. Everything up top is brass, a magnet only sticks to the cast iron base underneath. There is no cord so it is untested and sold ‘as-is’ as a display model. It’s about 7.25” tall, the base is about 3.5” dia, and the colander cage is about 2.5” dia. There is no cord so it is untested and sold ‘as-is’ as seen in the photos. It has age appropriate wear and tear with scuffs, scratches, dings, and small dents. The brass has an aged patina. The colander cage is banged up with flat spots and is out of round. The burner element cover is dented. There is a thin age/stress crack in the brass housing (photo 15). The interior ceramic socket is chipped. What you see is what you get, I don’t know if it’s missing any parts besides the wiring. The pictures are the best indicator as to condition, please use the zoom feature and check them out.
