The drawer face is carved with florette door panels are carved with florette and and half-lunette motifs. The florettes at the corners and 2 carved rims. Numerous vase turned spindles between the drawers and doors, in the door, and across the cornice. Pegged construction. The drawers have chamfered bottoms and tongue & groove joints. The luster and patina of the finish has been well maintained and glows warm. An extraordinary example of a French Bretons piece from that era. Large hinges with brass strap key escutcheons.
