Description: Antique British Hand Colored Pink Rose Floral Blue & Gold Tea Cup & Saucer A Nice antique 19th century Victorian era British bone china tea cup and saucer. Decorated with a blue band and ivory panels with gold gilt floral and dots and hand colored pink rose, grey rose, and small blue floral swags. With ivory and gold trim along the edge. Gold highlights to the handle. Unmarked except for the pattern number 5172 in red on the bottom. Unidentified. Circa 1860 to 1865. Has crazing typical of bone china and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 5/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
