The image depicting a Greek Mythological scene of Perseus rescuing Andromeda from the Kracken. Signed Morel-Ladeuil 1879 and Elkington. Beautiful old quality made with a good weight of 0.861 kilos unwrapped. The plaque is in very good condition with superb patina and totally original.Has minor rubbing,tarnishing etc.....All nothing major,but noted. All photos taken outside in good daylight. This plaque overall measures a 14.25"/ 36cms diameter.Has some minor wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
