Description: Description This wonderful fireplace was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.It is made of quarter sawn oak and is unpainted. The shelf is supported 2 fluted corbels with fluted pilasters below.The breast has great applied wood carvings from end to end. Measurements are 60 inches wide, 48.25 tall and 11 deep. The firebox opening is 42 inches wide by 36 tall.Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. The sides have small trim pieces that stick out past flush creating a gap at the back of the shelf. Remove the trim pieces and there is no gap. One corbel has a light separation and an embellishment is missing at the top. One of the firebox moldings is missing, I'm sure i have a spare piece of 1/4 oak that you can cut to fit. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship.
