Description: Description This is a magnificent piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian Home. It was originally located in the Master Bedroom as a built vanity with his and hers closets to either side. It is made of walnut and is painted. The center section is recessed, there is a framed beveled mirror at the top, it originally had a tabletop and small cabinet below but those parts are missing. To either side are doors to access the closet areas, each having 3 Eastlake spoon carved panels. Below each door is a drawer. The 4 legs are fluted with carved corbels at the top. The pediments across the top are loaded with Eastlake carved moldings, brackets, crowns, carved flowers and panels. Magnificent piece. It measures 100 inches wide by 103.5 inches tall by 12 deep at the center box. center opening is 26.5 wide. It disassembles to load into a cargo van or pick-up truck. This is a face only, the closet areas do not have backs or outside sides. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. A couple of the carved flowers are chipped or missing. The left door has light cracks, glue and clamp will fix them. A couple of the door hinges will need to be replaced. The mirror is cloudy. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 52315 Shipping We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. We generally make delivery trips along the I-85 and I-95 corridors to central Florida and the Florida panhandle in January. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. Outside these areas it would be best to check uship.com for delivery quotes. Payment Payment should be made within 5 business days unless you make other arrangements in advance. Terms of Sale I accept returns only if my description is inaccurate. For example, if I pull an item from a building that I believe to be original to the house and it is later discovered to be a reproduction, or if I enter an incorrect measurement, I will allow the buyer to return the item. I describe all my items as accurately as possible with descriptions and often pictures of any damage. I try to measure within 1/8 of an inch. About Us My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job! I salvage whatever I can think can be reused as long as there is room in my warehouse. The warehouse is open for treasure hunting anytime by appointment. Just contact me to schedule a day and time! Thanks for visiting. Steve and Michelle
