Please look closely for a better understanding, especially for the condition. The only pieces it does not have is, the original hair brush & the floral lid to one of the tiny round boxes. Probably for a ladies' patch box. Faux black moles, back then, were all the rage & fashion in beauty. ALL OF THE ITEMS NEED A GOOD CLEANING BUT I WILL LEAVE THIS UP TO THE NEW OWNER, WHO WINS THIS AUCTION. The reason I fell in love with this peace is because of 2 angels & a chaperone. Who seems to be very upset with the angels. Maybe they are Faries? But both beautiful angels have their wings. Not so much for their friend. The base has swags of flowers but mostly romantic Roses! The latch is a work of art all on its own. The hidden pull-out drawer is for a pocket watch & red velvet ring roll way in the back of the drawer. The other side is a nice open rectangular box & is perfect for other jewelry. Is this a mint condition? Oh no, but is in pretty good condition considering it is over 124 years old. I love Victorian items & time frame or era, & how they made things with great beauty & care. after you clean things up, this will a ultimate Christmas present. Selling as found condition & As-is.
