Description: Antique Chantilly black lace border, 11” wide and 2 5/8” long. Dated 1880-1900, and I believe is handmade. This comes from an estate of a French woman who lived during the late 19th century and was reclaimed from her garments. It’s in excellent condition considering its age and despite being in storage for many years. There are a couple of minor snags at the top, which are pictured, but otherwise no other flaws that I could see. Such a beautiful pattern!
