Description: This is a unique and rare child's rocking chair with an embroidered needlepoint floral design seat that has been covered with a brown tweed fabric and carved back. The wood appears to be walnut, although I can't vouch for that. The manufacture's tag is noted as Associated Factories, Chicago, Ill. My grandmother bought it in 1947 when I was born. Other than a dusting after removing it from storage, it remains untouched with the patina of the years and its usage (any application of furniture polish, oil or other restoration I leave to the discretion of the buyer). This cute kid's rocker measures 21.5" tall, 10" wide with 20.5" rocker rails. A very sweet, solid, well built, and hand worked piece of antique furniture that can still be appreciated and used today.
