Description: Very rare and hard to find Chinese Coin 7 Mirror Hanging Art. I believe this is from the Qing Dynasty, unsure. Around or prior to turn of last Century. 29" x 14" One coin is cracked, mirror side has heavy oxidation on coins, believe the string is silk, one tassle on Right is missing bulb, as is condition. Underlying numeric to coin weaving: Left top: 3/11 Center top: 20 Right top: 3/11 Inside top: 4/3/7/3/9 Middle Section: Left: 3/6/18 Middle: 40 Right: 3/6/18 Bottom: Left: 3/6/18 Bottom:3/7/18 Right: 3/6/18 Inside: 20 Super cool, almost Native American/Aztec/Mayan/Peruvian look to it from 10 feet back. Very intricate artisinal weaving, handmade... Coin oxidation and missing tassle bulb, one cracked coin is all I could find wrong. Dusty and could use thorough cleaning. Never seen another like it...
