Description: Quality Antique CHINESE Export Vermeil Silver Filigree CARNELIAN Necklace. Antique chinese silver filigree & enamel necklace with carved carnelian flowers, 3 panel inserts to the pendant, along with blue green enamel on the top and bottom of the necklace. The carnelian has exceptional orange color. The pendant is slightly over 2.5” long The braided chain is about 22” long The large clasp opens on both sides and it is gold over sterling. The clasp is new replacement and marked 925. I acid tested both ends of the chain and they test as pure silver (bright red) I did not test the rest of the chain, because I did not want to damage the gold layer. It is in good condition. It has a minimal gold wear.
