Description: Up for you consideration is this antique Ming Dynasty Chinese side table. This is an original item from approximately 1800-1850, not a reproduction. It is set apart from similar examples by having extra detail work in the humpback stretcher bars as well as having horsehoof feet. It does seem that there were at some point additional elements which filled the space between the stretcher and underside of the tabletop because there are holes for mounting something there, but nothing is present. The table is painted black like many of it's era. It could use a fresh coat of paint, but it is in as found condition and we have done no restoration to it. It is a very solidly built table, which is evidenced by it's age and still great condition. We have seen similar tables in the $2,000+ price range. Buy ours and save!
