Description: This is a very pretty late 19th- early 20th century chocolate pot. It was most likely made in Germany around the year 1900 and is unmarked. It is beautifully hand decorated and the gold is mostly still intact. This chocolate pot is in beautiful antique condition, but does have some minor imperfections as one would expect of a porcelain piece about 125 years old. There is a small chip and very fine hairline crack on the bottom underside of the lid. There is also an area with a bit of minor chipping on the back side of the rim which a previous owner has disguised well with a bit of gold paint touch up on that section of the rim. Structurally sound/functional and beautiful.
