Featuring a whimsical kitty cat playing with ball, puss is hand painted with grey stripes and holds a blue ball between his paws. Made by wrapping cotton batting over a wire frame, he is German made - collar is blue paper - tail is upright and stance is crouched and playful. Condition is very good with no damage other than age related tanning and some darkening/spotting over the body - he is missing the original fine cord that threaded through the back of his neck. I've always just displayed him straddling a branch on my antique feather tree - just adorable. These are so hard to find - I've been collecting them for years - a charming little spun cotton cat Christmas ornament - hate to see puss go, but I'm not putting up the feather trees anymore.
