Description: Antique civil war document signed Andrew Johnson Tennessee Military 1864. I’m going to finally sell this item and I’m hoping there is someone on here who would love it. It is an original vellum military document from the state of Tennessee. It is signed by then governor former president, Andrew Johnson in 1864. Obviously, because the document is on vellum, it has faded a bit. Most of it can still be read. The graphics at the top for the state of Tennessee are still very clear. it has been professionally framed and has a tan archival mat around it. The military rank was lieutenant, colonel, and he was in the cavalry of the Tennessee volunteers. I will try to post a video and lots of photos so you can read the verbiage but if you have any questions, please send me a message. This can be shipped and insured via FedEx, or you can view it in person in Twinsburg, OH 44087. The frame is approximately 20.5 inches wide and 23 inches tall. It is difficult to tell exactly how large the document is because the leather is behind the mat. The exposed portion is approximately 15.5 inches tall by 13.5 inches wide. Thank you kindly for viewing.
