Antique Clay Bottle EMSER Vintage Stoneware Bottle, German Mineral Water Bottle earthenware, Handmade Rustic Home Decor Emser Kraenches Wasser Jug Amateur research indicates that this is a German mineral water bottle made before 1880. Hand turned with a rounded shoulder and ear, it has a beautiful matte / low glaze light brown color with irregular dark spots and an applied small round handle. On the front there is an imprinted stamp with the name of the spring: "Emser Kraenches Wasser" and a crown with an “N” under it (the N may identify the local territory or councils that licensed the exportation of the water). On the back there is imprinted "Num 23” to identify the potter who made the bottle. Very good vintage condition, at some pint, handle was broken and repaired; fading Measurements: approx 11.75" tall x 3.25" diameter C. 75CL or approx 25 oz.
