Description: Antique CLEAR GLASS CELERY VASE-Richards & Hartley-"Plume/Feathers & Block" This antique celery vase is a beautiful addition to any collection of decorative glassware and still very usable! Use this beauty for celery sticks, of course, but also for green onions, bread sticks, drinking straws, or even a beautiful pencil/pen holder for your desk. The clear glass and "feather/plume & block pattern" make it a unique piece that is sure to catch the eye. The pattern was certainly made to mimic the American Brilliant Period cut glass that was being made at the time. The vase is Early American Pressed Glass and was manufactured circa 1885-1891 by Richards & Hartley. That company eventually became a part of the United States Glass Company where the pattern continued to be made. I see no chips or cracks but there is some cloudiness. Please see pictures.
