Description: Antique Satsuma vase has a ruri or cobalt blue glaze and is decorated with a floral design with a small bluebird flying above. Likely produced during the Meiji Period. Previous owner purchased it at a Chinese antique shop in the 1980's while he was temporarily living there. Signed on base. Vase measures 12 inches high and 6 inches diameter at the widest point.
