Description: A Nice Early American Coin Silver Julep Cup made by E D Kinsey and marked for both Kinsey and Richard Clayton Cincinnati, Ohio 1834-1859. The mark on the bottom is X out but you can still read Kinsey name with Clayton in the center. Made by Kinsey and retailed by Clayton? or a collaboration of the two silversmiths. The cup stands a little over 3 1/2" in height with a 3" opening. It has an ornate trim both top and bottom. I have rotated so you can see all sides. There are a few tiny dimples that could be repaired if desired but no major dings dents or faults. I love the ornate top and bottom trim. Nice Heavy weight early cup weighing 161 grams.
