ANTIQUE Collectible LARGE 14K YELLOW GOLD GREEN JADE CABACHON Ring Hong Kong

Description: This is another thing out of my parents fine Jewelry collection and recently out of storage. This was my father's ring, but hardly ever wore. He acquired it somewhere in Southeast Asia, while traveling for business, back in the 60s. I believe he purchased it in Hong Kong, but not entirely sure. It is hallmarked on the inside with a 14K stamp, including some initials, which I believe probably were those of the maker, along with some numbers, that I have not been able decipher. This is a lovely large, green Jade Cabochon Ring, bezel set on the horizontal, across the top, in a slight asymmetrical design - one side is slightly narrower than the other. It is in a heavy wide 14K yellow, brushed gold setting, with a wide, tapered shank. The stone measures, just shy of 6/8" total width, side-to-side across the center of the stone x 1/2" deep, and it sits about 1/4" high off the finger. Size: Sizeable 8 1/4 Weight: 9.3 grams Condition is excellent antique, rare and collectible, and has minor signs of wear.
