Description: Handsome pair of hand made marquetry wood panels. Nice scene of a provincial gal carrying milk or water buckets. The other panel just says “souvenir”. It looks like they could have been the covers to a journal/notepad. I found a similar piece that’s a folding mirror. Dimensions are approximately 2.75”x4.5”. Condition is very good with age appropriate wear. They are likely early 20th century. Made either in France or Italy I’d wager. Red velvet on backsides.
