Description: This antique conical ale Muller is made of copper. They were used to contain ale that needed to be warmed up in the open fire embers, as this was the way of it in mid Victorian times, where every inn and pub had one hanging up for use by the patrons. Dimensions approx 11"long x 5" wide at widest point. It has one small dent due to age and use as to be expected.It has a pretty handle that is held in place quite firmly by solder rather than rivets. Rolled rim.
