Description: Very collectible and great find. Antique Copper bucket/pot. Has dovetail seams, forged * riveted along the bottom area. It has a rat tail bail handle.. all original and antique. It measures 7" tall; 12" across the bottom; and 10" across top opening. It weights 4 lb.10oz. without packaging so will cost more to mail. Copper used to be commonly used for cooking. This pot would have been hung over a open fire and would have been perfect for cooking soups and stews or rabbits or other animals. Now it will make a great piece for your decor. I have left the antique petina on it, but it could be cleaned and be shiny. Would even be great to put by your fire place to store kindling. Farm house chic. Please view all photos and should you have questions, please feel free to contact me via the ebay site. It was probably made in the 1030's or even earlier.
