Description: This beautiful deep red Victorian (?) drawstring purse is in excellent condition, no missing beads & no rips anywhere. I’ve always loved this bag … the simple, zigzag design of the beads makes it sleek & more “modern” looking then the common flower motif bags of this period. The red body is perfect w/no staining whatsoever. However on the lining inside (unseen while in use) there is a small blue stain and a little bit of discoloration (see pic). The beading is silver micro beads as is the tassel which has a little rusting on the beads. The chain drawstring handle is silver toned. The bag measures 9 1/4" from the tip of the tassel to the top of the bag x 4 1/2" width. Comes from a smoke free home.Please look at the pictures carefully & let me know if you have any questions.
