Description: Antique sterling silver teapot and tilt stand by Dominick and Haff, circa 1868, has a couple of issues. Teapot has been dropped, and the foot ring has been dented and bent. Also, the ebony handle appears to have been poorly repaired and rebroken. A good jeweler or silversmith could likely have this thing looking good; it still presents well on one side. Outside of bent foot ring and handle, item is in excellent condition. Comes with silverplate burner in excellent condition. Without handle and burner, stand and teapot weigh about 890 grams.
