Bracket is about 15 inches along the back and the arm that holds the bell measures 11 inches. There are two holes in the back bracket for attaching to the wall. You might need to replace the rope. My husband's family had this hanging at the front door for many years. I don't know how long it was in their family. This weighs a bit over 3 pounds. Shipping cost have increased!
