Description: My mother collected primitive antiques for 60+ years of her life. She had a room in her house that she decorated like a general store. Anyway she loved early tins and this one was in her collection of medicinal items. Anyway, she even left little notes on the backs of certain items if it was rare. She left a note behind that she paid more for this years ago because it a very rare size. It is in the shape of an oval where Sayman Salve's free sample tins were only round. Again, it is very small. It is 1/3 inch thin. The top lid measures 3/4 inches tall by 1 7/8 inches wide. The tin is in very good aged condition with all of it's outside black printing still easily ledgible.
