Description: An antique ebony dressing table tray with a small pair of candlesticks, a ring stand, hand mirror and clothes brush. The makers initials on the tray, candlesticks and ring stand are W R with the London assay mark but the date letters differ on each but all would be early 20th cent. Each item is impressed Ebony underneath. The mirror and brush have the makers initials H F D & Co with the assay mark being for London with both having a small r date letter. Again these will be from the early 20th cent and are impressed Ebony. While the date letters differ all these items came together. Condition. Tray….overall surface wear as you would expect with the dark colour being worn off or faded in places but no splits, bruises or repairs. Candlesticks. In generally good condition with just a very minor knock to the side of one base. One is missing its metal insert. The silver rims are not to bad with just a few minor dents or dings. One is missing the pins that hold the silver in place. Ring stand. Good with no issues. The date letter on the silver is unclear. Hand mirror. The silvering on the glass is rather worn around the edges. The silver band is missing its pins on one side that hold it in place and the silver has a few dings. Brush. The bristles are rather worn but no other issues other than light surface wear commensurate with age and use. Approx size. The underside base of the tray is 34.5cm long by 22cm wide.
