Edme Samson began his career in the 1830's in Paris and was a famous Copyist of Museum Quality items. His works have since become collectible in their own right. Stunningly executed with exceptional detail. Spurious gold anchor mark. Approx 9.5"H X 6"W. Condition: Minor chipping to flowers and bocage, sheep has chip to ear, end of guitar missing as well as ladies thumb, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected.
