Description: Stunning antique turn of the century Edwardian Platinum topped 18k solid gold Diamonds and Blue Sapphires bar pin. Measures 2 3/4" long x 1/4" wide in the center and weighs 5.3 grams. The Diamonds are a mix of Rose and Old Mine cuts and are over 1/2 carats in total Diamond weight. The center stone is a 10 pointer and the two flanking ones are each 5 pointers. In all there are 25 Diamonds. I am not certified to grade but I can tell you that they are clean and bright. The 10 x 3 point Blue Sapphires also appear to be top quality. The pin is stamped 750(for 18K) on the back which leads me to believe it is European in origins. I have not been able to find a maker's mark on it but the level of quality suggests it may have been a custom item. I feel like it should say Cartier or Tiffany on it but it doesn't. Overall excellent condition with modest wear. Please enlarge all pics for best details.
