Description: Antique Edwardian Victorian Black and Tan Plaid Silk Skirt Black Ruffles AS IS. This fantastic plaid silk skirt has a brown cotton lining along with brown cotton ribbon loops for closure at the waist. There is a thin black velvet trim around the entire hem of the skirt. Overtop of that is the two tier black silk ruffles which have begun shredding quite significantly. The plaid is made up of warm brown tones.The condition of this skirt is fair for being over a century old. There are stains on the main body of the fabric along with small holes and one significant tear. This piece is great for antique clothing collectors and would do best displayed on a mannequin. It could be worn delicately after if given some care from a seamstress beforehand.
