Classic British style and traditional form with two drawers over three drawers in the front. The chest top and all five drawer fronts have wonderful burl mahogany graining and classic wood drawer pulls. Inlaid banding to the cabinet top. Lower scalloped apron and carved turned feet complete the elegant silhouette. Quality throughout with dovetailed drawers; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa1890. An outstanding classic English antique, yet not too large; it’s a very versatile size that fits well in today’s home and provides generous storage with its five, very deep drawers.
