Description: This listing is for a very nice antique English Sterling Silver Match Safe or Vesta Case The case is rectangular in shape, with squared-off edges/corners, with etched leaves and flowers The front of the case is monogrammed - we cannot make out the letters, but we believe them to be "JHC" When the case is opened, the inside edge is hallmarked with some letters which we cannot make out and then what appears to be a lion, an "M" and an anchor This case measures 1 13/16" x 1 1/4" and weighs 24.1 grams Nice piece.
