Description: For your consideration is an incredible dual key antique entry mortise door lock manufactured by Mallory Wheeler Co. in New Haven Conn. in the 1880's. The lock is #902 and is part of the popular 'Arabic' design group. The face plate, latch, bolt and many of the internal parts are made of brass. The lock body is made of cast iron. The mortise lock is in excellent functional condition - it has been refurbished - all parts disassembled, cleaned and properly reassembled. The lock is reversible, it will work with a right or left hand swing door. Dimensions of the face plate: 6-3/4 x 1-1/16", distance between the face and center-of-hub (set back): 2-7/8", distance between center-of-hub and center of the 1st key post is 1-3/4", distance between center-of-hub and center of the 2nd key post is 3-1/8". Comes with functioning skeleton keys. Does not come with latch plate or mounting screws. Please look at the pictures carefully as they are considered part of the description.
