Description: This is for a old antique European French ratton wicker 15 wine/champagne bottle carry storage display basket crate . Late 1800 to early 1900 cThe piece is 21 inches long and 13.75 inches wide. The piece is 15 inches tall. Piece alone weighs in at 14 lbs 7.7 ounces. Handmade woven wicker, thick gauge metal wire and wooden main frame and bottom runners. Piece is old and shows signs from age and usage. Small broken areas of wicker, missing most of the original painted on initials. The piece is still sturdy. The inside has a wood & wire 12 bottle layered holding grid. It does curved in or dipped from years of heavy usage.Split interior grid rod. A small hole through wicker in the side where a wood grid possibly broke off or pushed through wicker. It is very hard to describe everything. So please go through all photos closely. They can visually show item and condition far better than we can explain. Another great collector piece for display and usage. Color tone of piece is closest to the first couple photos.
