Description: I inherited this mirror, but do not know if it is a true antique from the 1800s. I therefore am selling it as "in the style of" a 19th century Sharaton split column mirror with reverse painted flowers and fruit on the top glass panel. These mirrors typically were made ca. 1820-1840. This mirror is in very good vintage condition with a black and gilded wooden frame. The mirror moves a little in the frame, while the painting on top does not move. There is some wear to the wooden frame and the back due to age and storage. The mirror measures approximately 5 1/2 in x 8 in, the reverse painted panel is approximately 5 1/2 in x 3 in. The entire piece is approximately 13 1/2 in x 7 1/2 in. From non smoking home.
