This massive work was made by l'Abbe Pierre Joseph Bonnaterre, and published in Paris by Panckoucke in 1788. Artists and Engravers: Abbe Pierre Joseph Bonnaterre (1752-1804) was a French naturalist. He added copious portions on mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, and fish to the Encyclopedie Methodique. In total he created around 400 illustrations for this work. Bonnaterre is credited with 25 new species of fish. Subject: Plate: 35 with figures 133-138. It is titled: Le Poisson a longue queue, le Goujon de Mer, le Boulereau, le Goujon blanc, le Schlosser, le Taiboa - Marcrouries Rupestris, Gobius Paganellus, G. Niger, G. Jozo, G. Barbarus, G.
